Cheri
Kneifel
Associate in Christian Education Cheri has worked at First UMC since 1992. She pursued certification at St. Paul School of Theology in Kansas City, and earned an Associate Degree in Christian Education from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. In 1997, she was officially certified as an Associate by the Nebraska Annual Conference. Cheri continues to take many hours of continuing education in the field of Christian Education and has 50 contact hours of continuing education in the field of Youth Ministry. Cheri is a member of Christian Educators Fellowship. In addition to her education, Cheri brings her previous experience as a stay-at-home mom and as a secretary at Madison Middle and Lincoln Elementary Schools to her work at First United Methodist Church in North Platte. She is married to Joe, and
they have have 3 grown children: Jennifer, Cara, and Joshua (who recently
received his PhD in economics) and one granddaughter.
